What are some of these wrongful things, or "yaramazlık" that will take away the protection of the corporation?

(1) Personal funds and corporation funds are intermingled (mixed together)

(2) The corporation is an "alter ego" of the person - it is basically a sham company (sahte şirket)

(3) The business doesn't follow the formalities of being a corporation - no recordkeeping, meetings, etc.

(4) The corporation is not funded properly - it has no money or assets

Then a court could say, "This is not a real corporation. The person suing can go after the owner's personal assets."

It's not quite this simple. I took some liberties to get the concept across. But the general idea holds. To enjoy the protection of being a corporation, the business must ACT like a corporation.
