Naci's Corner Café is a local family owned, woman operated Mediterranean Quick-Serve restaurant serving kebabs, minced meat-patties and healthy foods. The cafe is looking to hire a Grill Cook to work the grill for the hours between 11 am to 4 pm with below details:

The Grill Cook assists the Chef Owner with cooking and grilling. The Grill Cook focuses on grilling, food preparation, cooking, presentation and food inventory controls.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions include:

+ Uses knives correctly and safely.

+ Cleans and maintains work-space.

+ Safely operates and maintains cleanliness of equipment.

+ Follows all recipes and procedures with regards to quality, consistency and time standards.

+ Handles foods, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning and preparation.

+ Receives, stores, and rotates food items.

+ Covers Sales Counter and fulfills food and beverage orders as needed+ + Washes dishes if needed.

Must have Food Handlers Certificate

Daily Grill Operations: Knows and grills / cooks to safe cooking temperatures as required by Food Safe Regulations. Taking an ongoing inventory of ingredients to ensure nothing is running low, grilling, cutting up vegetables, preparing side dishes and getting salads ready for special events and regular dining hours.

Customer Service: Delivering internal and external customer service with excellence and provide direction that represents the organization's standards of employee conduct and presence. Maintain guest satisfaction by safely prepping, cooking, auditing and serving food offerings and by initiating improvements.
