Gelecege Sarkilar - February 2020

Dear friends, we are getting together for our annual Gelecege Sarkilar (Songs for the Future) concert to raise funds for the girls' education in Turkey. All proceeds from the event go to Turkish Educational Foundation's (TEF) Cagdas Yasami Destekleme Dernegi (CYDD) Fund. CYDD currently supports 90,000 girls' education. This is our third year and with your contributions, we have raised more than $60,000 so far. With Empowering the Turkish-American Community (ETAC), Turkish-American Gezi Platform (TAGP) and our community as our partners, we are confident that we will continue to send more girls to school.

We are preparing an excellent menu and a musical feast for you. World-renowned clarinetist Ismail Lumanovski is joining Alaturca Connection. Mechanical Turk will also be on the stage to play their popular songs for us.
